Rob Turner had already lost his starting job with the Titans, now he’s lost for the season.
According to John Glennon of the Tennesseean, Turner was placed on injured reserve Wednesday with a shoulder injury, and they signed veteran offensive lineman Pat McQuistan to replace him.
Turner, signed as a free agent this offseason, was benched two weeks ago in favor of fourth-round pick Brian Schwenke.
McQuistan has bounced around, spending time with the Cowboys, Dolphins, Saints and Cardinals, and was also in camp with the Titans in 2011. He’s started 11 games.
