Call it a case of the rich getting richer.

Already boasting perhaps the hottest quarterback in the league at the moment, the Bengals added another weapon to the arsenal this morning.

According to Paul Dehner Jr. of the Cincinnati Enquirer, the Bengals activated slot receiver Andrew Hawkins from injured reserve/designated for return today, and he’s eligible to play tonight against the Dolphins.

Hawkins injured his ankle in training camp, but after missing the minimum amount of time, he’s ready to return, filling the roster spot created when safety Taylor Mays went on season-ending injured reserve.

The Bengals have a wealth of weapons at the moment, with the emergence of wide receiver Marvin Jones and tight end Tyler Eifert along with an already good group of targets.

But Hawkins caught 51 passes last year, and with Mohamed Sanu questionable with a shoulder injury, he could slide right back in.
