Jamaal Charles returns to practice field

The Chiefs can take a deep breath, and exhale this time.

According to Adam Teicher of ESPN.com, flagship running back Jamaal Charles  returned to the practice field Thursday, and is expected to play Sunday against the Bills.

Charles missed Wednesday’s practice because of a knee injury, and that was a major concern considering he leads the league in yards from scrimmage, and is the focal point of their offense.

Whether he’s listed as limited or whatever his designation on tomorrow’s injury report might be, it seems clear they’re not inclined to rest him.
