The Saints will be bringing tight end Jimmy Graham with them to New Jersey for the battle of the Ryan Brothers that some may also refer to as the Week Nine date between New Orleans and the Jets.

The Jets wouldn’t be able to counter Graham with a similarly talented tight end under the best of circumstances, but they may be down to pulling folks out of the stands to fill out the depth chart on Sunday. Kellen Winslow is still serving his suspension for violating the performance-enhancing drug policy and Jeff Cumberland still hasn’t been cleared for contact since suffering a concussion last weekend.

If Cumberland can’t go, Geno Smith would be left without one of his favorite downfield targets. He and the Jets would be left with Zach Sudfeld and Konrad Reuland as healthy tight ends on the roster, and neither one has seen enough playing time on offense to provide confidence that they’d be able to pick up a significant amount of slack.

Wide receiver Santonio Holmes will miss another game with his hamstring injury. Running back Alex Green (hamstring) and guard Willie Colon (calf) are both questionable.
