The Panthers are going to be near full-strength when they play the Falcons Sunday, in hopes of extending a three-game win streak.

The entire backfield should be intact, as coach Ron Rivera said running back Jonathan Stewart would be activated from the physically unable to perform list Saturday, per Joe Person of the Charlotte Observer.

Stewart’s been out since offseason surgeries on both ankles.

They should also have starter DeAngelo Williams, who is listed as probable after missing two days of practice with a thigh bruise.

While a division of labor could be tricky in some cases, Stewart and Williams have a good relationship and have always been willing to share. Of course, they haven’t had too many opportunities to work together in stable situations, since both topped the 1,100-yard mark in 2009.

The Panthers also welcomed defensive end Charles Johnson back to practice, after he missed two days with a groin strain. He’s also listed as probable. Defensive tackle Dwan Edwards is also probable, after missing five games with a hamstring injury.

The only real question mark at this point is linebacker Chase Blackburn, who aggravated a foot injury and was listed as questionable.
