Rams are banged up at tailback

Pead

It’s a good thing the Rams have not yet given up on second-year second-round running back Isaiah Pead. Come Sunday, they might need him.

Of the team’s top four tailbacks, the third-stringer is the only one who isn’t injured. The others -- Zac Stacy (foot), Daryl Richardson (foot), and Benny Cunningham (ankle) -- are all questionable.

On Friday, Stacy participated in practice on a limited basis, Richardson sat out, and Cunningham was a full go.

Also questionable if defensive end Chris Long, who has an illness, and quarterback Brady Quinn, who has a hip injury. Guard Harvey Dahl (knee) is out.

The Rams, coached by former Titans coach Jeff Fisher, host Tennessee on Sunday in a rematch of Super Bowl XXXIV.
