Broncos coach John Fox has reportedly been taken to the hospital.
Adam Schefter and Chris Mortensen of ESPN report that Fox, who was golfing in Charlotte this weekend while the Broncos are on their bye week, is expected to be OK. Fox was taken by ambulance from the golf course to a North Carolina hospital.
The 58-year-old Fox, who has been a football coach for his entire adult life and an NFL head coach for the last 12 years, does not have a history of significant health problems.
The 7-1 Broncos are off this weekend and will resume practice on Monday. They travel to San Diego to play the Chargers on November 10.
UPDATE 4:55 p.m. ET: Despite initial reports that Fox had symptoms associated with a heart attack, the Broncos say he did not suffer a heart attack.
