The Ravens signed former Bengals running back Bernard Scott this week as insurance against Bernard Pierce’s thigh injury, but they won’t wind up needing him against the Browns on Sunday.

Scott is inactive, while Pierce and Ray Rice are active for Baltimore and will handle the backfield workload in the AFC North clash. Rice has also had hip issues this season, but said during the bye week that he felt the best he has all season.

The other inactives for the Ravens are guard Kelechi Osemele, safety Brynden Trawick, center Ryan Jensen, wide receiver Brandon Stokley, defensive end DeAngelo Tyson and linebacker John Simon.

Cleveland had just two questionable players on the injury report and both linebacker Quentin Groves and defensive end Billy Winn are in the lineup. Offensive lineman Patrick Lewis, linebacker Paul Hazel, offensive lineman Martin Wallace, nose tackle Ishmaa’ily Kitchen, offensive lineman Garrett Gilkey, tight end Keavon Milton and offensive lineman Reid Fragel are inactive for the Browns.
