Darren McFadden exits with hamstring injury

Darren McFadden, Fletcher Cox AP

Raiders running back Darren McFadden suffered a hamstring injury against the Eagles.

McFadden was seen getting worked on by the medical staff, and the Raiders announced that McFadden will not return to the game.

McFadden had just five carries for 12 yards and one catch for three yards before suffering the injury.

With McFadden out the Raiders are relying on Rashad Jennings at running back.

Made of glass. Has to be the most injury prone player in all of football.

It’s time for the raiders to find a back capable of carrying the load every week.mcfargile certainly isn’t the answer and reggie should let him walk in free agency and find a back in the draft or a FA.

    Stunning development.

Jennings is a much better RB. This should be DMacs last season unless he signs a contract to value.

And now Pryor is out too.

    SMH.

Darren McFadden and Bo Jackson have few things in common. They both are part-time players, they are explosive, and they are fast. The difference is Bo was more reliable.

This life-long Raiders fan here is so fed up! I am tired of having a hope only to see McFadden couldn’t follow it up. I just am glad his contract is over after this year. I am looking forward getting that third round compensation in the NFL Draft for when he leaves through free-agency. I’m done with him.

Jennings has been better this year anyways. And can we stop with this Pryor worship now?Hes got NO arm and relies too much on his scrambling ability. He stinks as a QB and the Raiders will get crushed next week in New York

    And this is a surprise?

Yeah, TP is not the answer and DMC is on his way out. Keep in mind, as hard as it is RM was working with the deck stacked against him…I know, I know, I’m tired of it all too but we gotta give this staff a chance…

  17. rubicon202 says: Nov 4, 2013 5:24 PM

Oh, 100 bucks DMC signs with the Pats and has a 1000 yard season…

McCrakin is on the Bo Jackson knows contract. Half the year he knows football and the other half he knows he’s not.
