Playing right guard for the Panthers is like being the drummer for Spinal Tap.
While there have been no bizarre gardening accidents (yet), they are down to their third player at the position today.
That leaves former defensive tackle Nate Chandler manning the position the rest of the day.
Keep in mind, they cut incumbent starter Geoff Hangartner in training camp, then lost rookie Edmund Kugbila and Garry Williams to injuries (along with left guard Amini Silatolu, who must have sat on the wrong side of the meeting room one day).
We’ll be watching to see if Chandler spontaneously combusts.
