Roddy White inactive for Sunday’s game at Carolina

Falcons wide receiver Roddy White is officially inactive for Sunday’s game at Carolina, the club said Sunday morning.

White has been dealing with hamstring and ankle injuries. He sat out practice on Wednesday and Thursday, then practiced on a limited basis on Friday.

With White not playing, tight end Tony Gonzalez and wide receiver Harry Douglas could be Matt Ryan’s top targets against the Panthers.

Wide receiver Drew Davis, who started last week, also figures to have a role in the passing game. Davis caught five passes for 77 yards and a touchdown in last Sunday’s loss at Arizona.

They might as well just make the whole team inactive and forfeit at the rate their season is going.
