As the Patriots prepare to host the Steelers, the Patriots won’t have one of their best defensive players again.

Cornerback Aqib Talib is inactive for the third straight game due to a strained hip flexor suffered last month.

Also inactive are receiver Kenbrell Thompkins, running back Leon Washington, receiver Josh Boyce, offensive lineman Chris Barker, defensive lineman Jake Bequette, and linebacker Steve Beauharnais.

Inactive for the Steelers are quarterback Landry Jones, receiver Markus Wheaton, cornerback Curtis Brown, tight end Richard Gordon, linebacker Kion Wilson, guard David DeCastro, and defensive tackle Hebron Fangupo.
