Thad Lewis won’t play today

As of Wednesday, it looked like Bills quarterback Thad Lewis will play.

As of Friday, it became doubtful.

As of Sunday, there’s no doubt.  Per a league source, Lewis will not play against the Chiefs on Sunday.

Lewis has been dealing with injured ribs and the flu.  It’s believed that undrafted rookie Jeff Tuel, who amassed a 4-22 record at Washington State, will get a chance to knock off the 8-0 Chiefs.

For the Chiefs, it’s their third straight game against something other than a starting quarterback.  After the bye, the Chiefs will see Peyton Manning, Philip Rivers, and Peyton Manning.

Meanwhile, MDS refuses to let me change my pick from the Bills to the Chiefs.

I’ll believe Thad isn’t playing when 1pm comes around and he isn’t on the field. Guy is tough, and this game is huge for the bills

I bet the bronco’s wax the chiefs by 20 points. The chiefs have the easiest schedule and good luck in this league.

Flynn should feel great about himself. 3 times he has been beat out by a rookie.

Might I point out to all of those who are saying the Chiefs haven’t faced a real quarterback, Manning and Rivers haven’t faced a real defense.

No, we’re saying the Chiefs haven’t beat a team with a winning record yet.
