Thad Lewis won’t play today

Lewis

As of Wednesday, it looked like Bills quarterback Thad Lewis will play.

As of Friday, it became doubtful.

As of Sunday, there’s no doubt. Per a league source, Lewis will not play against the Chiefs on Sunday.

Lewis has been dealing with injured ribs and the flu. It’s believed that undrafted rookie Jeff Tuel, who amassed a 4-22 record at Washington State, will get a chance to knock off the 8-0 Chiefs.

For the Chiefs, it’s their third straight game against something other than a starting quarterback. After the bye, the Chiefs will see Peyton Manning, Philip Rivers, and Peyton Manning.

Meanwhile, MDS refuses to let me change my pick from the Bills to the Chiefs.
