Wilson, Glennon meet again

Two years ago, North Carolina State decided to elevate junior quarterback Mike Glennon to starter.  Fifth-year senior Russell Wilson opted to transfer to Wisconsin.

The rest is history for both of them.  Wilson became a third-round pick in 2012 and one of the best young quarterbacks in the game.  Glennon became a third-round pick in 2013 and is still trying to win a game.

On Sunday afternoon, they meet for the first time in Seattle.  Wilson’s team is 7-1 and Glennon’s is 0-7.  If Glennon wins at CenturyLink Field, it’ll be one of the biggest upsets of the past decade.

Trying to keep the respective quarterbacks under control will be cornerbacks Richard Sherman and Darrelle Revis.  The two have traded verbal barbs in the past, and like the quarterbacks they meet for the first time ever.

And that’s the best we can do to generate interest in a game the Seahawks should win by 40.
