Winless Buccaneers up early on Seahawks

Mike Glennon AP

For a moment, at least, Tom O’Brien was justified.

The former N.C. State coach opened the door for Russell Wilson to walk to Wisconsin rather than foster a part-time baseball career, because he was so confident in Mike Glennon’s ability.

Glennon just threw a 12-yard touchdown pass to Tim Wright, giving the Buccaneers an unlikely 7-0 lead at Seattle. It capped a 10-play, 90-yard drive, which was helped along by perhaps a thin pass interference call on Seahawks safety Earl Thomas.

Wilson has an interception early, as the Buccaneers have played a solid game so far.

Only an offside penalty negated an surprise onside kick by the Bucs, so Wilson now has a chance to even it up on his old college roommate.

Good drive TB the first td was bogus but when the pocket breaks down Glendon is making excellent decisions . Good first half expect seattle to play inspired ball the rest of the game and win going away.

    49ers > Seahawks

    No questions asked.

Bobby Wagner was responsible for that 3rd TD with the most ridiculously poor timing of his jump on that pass play. He still almost made it despite such a horribly early time to launch himself. His decision radius was soooo wide open to wait just a little longer to a lot longer and the play is an easy gimme INT.

Seattle could really use a QB that can pass right about now.

Nobody but the refs like schiano.

21-0 Bucs. 2 minutes to go in half. Glennon has connected all his passes but 1.

Time for Hawks to stop believing they hype…they haven’t been a decent team for weeks. Got luck against Texans and Rams, Stunk up the joint against Tenn and gave a win away against Colts. Hope they lose 56-0 and have to face the reality of who they are.

Seagal fans whining about refs again? Go join 40-whiner fans and cry me a river…
