James Jones active for Packers vs. Bears

The Packers are getting healthier at wide receiver.

James Jones, the receiver who missed the last two weeks with a knee injury, is active and will play tonight against the Bears. Jones had been listed as questionable for this week.

Having Jones back will be good for Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, although he’s still without a couple other favorite targets, receiver Randall Cobb (who is on injured reserve designated for return) and tight end Jermichael Finley (who is inactive with a neck injury).

The Packers’ other inactives are WR Chris Harper, CB James Nixon, LB Clay Matthews, LB Nick Perry, DE Josh Boyd and DE C.J. Wilson.

The Bears’ inactives are QB Jay Cutler, LB Lance Briggs, WR Joe Anderson, G James Brown, OT Jonathan Scott, DE Cornelius Washington and DT Zach Minter.

What a shame. Cutler was good for a solid 2 INTs every time he faced the Packers. Hopefully McCown can fill those Cutlet shoes and throw us a couple.

Hopefully the Bears will put up a better fight tonight than those gutless quitters in MN last week.

This information would have been more helpful yesterday morning before I was forced to start Kenbrell Thompkins on my fantasy team. Thanks, PFT.

Look, the Steelers might have struggled a bit this year. Guess what? In the end, you are still our inferiors. No one else can say they have six rings. No one.

That must be a depressing wake up call to some. Even more depressing for those have yet to even win a Super Bowl (and we laugh extensively at you).

Now here we go. This Sunday continues the run we spoke of: 10-2. We will win 8 straight, make the playoffs, and run through the competition for the most glorious world title yet.

Meanwhile, there you are, in all your lowliness.

Really Finley was a favourite target?

    A) Since the game is a Monday night game, you should have known it wouldn’t be official until tonight.

    B) You have no one to blame but yourself for starting Thompkins under any circumstances. With both Gronk and Amendola back his targets/opportunities would be very limited.

I’m down 27 with Bennett to go, Packers D on the other team. do I drop Bennett for Jones (have Julius T on deck at TE and could use a WR) or do I have a chance to win this?

OK OK enough about the past, this is football. Only this year matters, more specifically today. whats up with Jones?

Calm down operwapitsai. I’m sure they’re limiting his snaps.
