Kubiak cleared to leave hospital, will miss another week

While there’s been no definitive word from the Texans on what exactly caused coach Gary Kubiak to collapse Sunday night, there is a bit of good news.

According to John McClain of the Houston Chronicle, Kubiak has been cleared by doctors and released from the hospital.

Kubiak will miss this week’s game with Arizona, and they’ll presumably continue to be led by defensive coordinator Wade Phillips, who filled in the second half of Sunday’s game. But the plan is for Kubiak to return the following week.

That’s a promising sign for Kubiak, if doctors are willing to let him go back to work so soon.

Great news, hope everything goes good for him.
Now go out and get a good kicker so you won’t have any excuse when you get beat.

Good news. — It’s always nice to have your health when one gets fired. — He can finish the season but he’ll end up on the unemployment list shortly after its conclusion. — Life in the NFL.

Nice picture of him – he’s smiling. I’d like to see more of that from him on the sidelines – similar to the Cowboy and Seattle coaches.

    Enjoy life!

It was a mini stroke or TIA. It’s been pretty widely reported.
