The New Orleans Saints released cornerback Chris Carr last week in order to activate linebacker Jonathan Vilma from the short-term injured reserve list.

Now Carr is once again returning to the Saints.

Carr’s agent, Buddy Baker, reported via his Twitter account that his client was re-signing with New Orleans.

Carr has appeared in five games for the Saints so far this season and has recorded eight tackles with an interception and two passes defensed.

Goes to show you I was right all along. I think there is some schizophrenia going on in the front office. He’s signed, he’s cut, he’s signed, he’s cut, he’s signed. He could have helped the woefully depleted secondary against the Jets.
