Look quick, and don’t blink. It’s good news for the Dolphins.

Defensive end Cameron Wake was named AFC defensive player of the week for last week’s performance against the Bengals.

Wake capped his 3.0-sack night with a walk-off safety in overtime, to help the Dolphins beat the Bengals last Thursday. That snapped a four-game losing streak, but it feels like a month ago.

We now return you to the wait for the inevitable next embarrassing chapter of the Jonathan MartinRichie Incognito debacle.

Wake is a stud. When he was injured, the team sure did miss him. Congratulations Cam, you deserve it.

Thank you, Mr. Wake, for smackin’ around that Cincy o-line, and for teaching young Andy what a “safety” is.

    Love your work, sir.

The Dolphins still have to contend with the loss of 2 starting offensive lineman.

Steelers fans were also happy with the win against the Bengals.
