Brandon Jacobs doubtful for Sunday

Giants running back Brandon Jacobs is doubtful for Sunday’s game against Oakland, the club’s Twitter feed said Friday.

According to multiple reports, Jacobs was not present at practice on Friday.

Jacobs has been listed on the injury report with a hamstring ailment. However, according to media reports, Jacobs also has a knee injury.

The 31-year-old Jacobs provided of the few feel-good stories in the Giants’ 0-6 start, rushing for 106 yards and two TDs in a 27-21 loss at Chicago on Oct. 10. However, he has not played since.

If Jacobs is out, Peyton Hillis and Andre Brown would figure to get most of the work at running back on Sunday for New York, which is on a two-game winning streak.

He only had one game left in him……to bad too; they could have used 8 or so more to try and stay competitive……..

No worries, JPP is going to win this game all by himself.

    Just ask him.

Its too bad his ex-state trooper buddies couldn’t escort Jacobs down the field for a first down.

Hillis is doing a good job for the Giants and is a bigger threat catching out of the backfield.
