Bills linebacker Manny Lawson was excused from practice Friday for what coach Doug Marrone termed personal reasons.
But that doesn’t mean Marrone’s quite sure what it means. Lawson is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Steelers.
“I spoke to him this morning, I excused him. It’s not injury-related. He’s taking care of some personal issues,” Marrone said, via Mike Rodak of ESPN.com. “I’m going to talk to him this afternoon. . . . I don’t know much about the situation.”
Lawson has started eight games for the Bills this season.
They’re also up in the air about wide receiver Robert Woods. He didn’t practice Friday because of an ankle injury, and is listed as doubtful. But he will travel with the team.
