The Raiders will be leaving six players in Oakland when they hop on their flight to New Jersey for Sunday’s game against the Giants.

Coach Dennis Allen announced that running back Darren McFadden, cornerback D.J. Hayden, safety Tyvon Branch, tackle Tony Pashos, wide receiver Juron Criner and tackle Matt McCants have all been ruled out because of injuries.

The news on McFadden was expected as he missed practice all week with the recurrence of a hamstring injury that sidelined him earlier in the season. Rashad Jennings will take his place in the starting lineup.

Hayden injured his groin in practice on Wednesday and missed the rest of the week of practice. With Branch out as well, the Giants’ struggling offense will have a depleted secondary to try to use as a springboard toward better results.

Menelik Watson will start at right tackle for the Raiders with Pashos out. Steve Corkran of the Bay Area News Group reports Allen also said the team will elevate Jack Cornell from the practice squad to serve as depth on the offensive line.
