Mario Manningham good to go vs. Panthers

The most interesting aspect of the 49ers’ injury report for Sunday’s game against the Panthers is a player who isn’t on it: Mario Manningham.

Manningham, the receiver who hasn’t played since tearing his ACL on December 23, is not listed on the injury report at all. If there were any possibility of his knee injury keeping him out of Sunday’s game, the 49ers would at least need to list him as probable.

The 49ers activated Manningham from the physically unable to perform list this week. He’s expected to be on a snap count, but that’s more a matter of conditioning than concern that his knee is structurally weak.

San Francisco could use a third threat in the passing game; after No. 1 receiver Anquan Boldin and tight end Vernon Davis, their next-leading receiver is fullback Bruce Miller, who has just 13 catches for 158 yards.

That just made Kaepernick just a bit more valuable!! When Crabtree comes back Seattle is going start losing a little more sleep!!

Say what you want about Manningham but the dude is over looked because he doesn’t have the major stats & is over shadowed by bigger names on his team. But let it be known Mario was the most productive WR last year for Alex & Kaep before he got hurt. The man moves the chains on 3rd downs & is a BIG game player.

Check the touchdown he hauled in on a 3rd & 15 with blanket coverage on Tremaine Brock in the NFC CONFERENCE Game in 2011( that crushed my heart) or the Super Bowl grab on the side lines against the Pats. Dude is a baller.

Can’t wait for him to ball!!

    Let’s get it 9ER Faithful!! F^¢k these H@+€R$

Is he ever good to go? Seems like he’s always nicked up no matter what team he plays for.

This upcoming game is going to be the game of the week. Rooting for Panthers as payback to Harbaugh for rooting against Seattle…..lol.

For every one spectacular catch he make he drops 5 routine balls.

just one more piece of the superbowl puzzle… the 9ers are loaded all around the ball and one can only hope they are all healthy come playoff time…

    GO9ERS!!

Will be a good game on Sunday versus the Panthers. #1 running team against the #2 rushing defense. Cam is playing much better but is still missing his targets rather consistently. Carolina coming TO the west coast….SF coming off of a bye week….getting really healthy and rested…….hmm…it’ll be a good game but I think there’s too much against Carolina on this one.

Having him back adds another dimension to our offense, a prime example was last years game against the Saints.

I can’t wait for tomorrow! I’ll be at the Stick with my brother for probably our last game before they move to the South Bay. To all my fellow Faithful I’ll see you there!

    GO NINERS!!!!!

MM is not Megatron but he is a pro and knows how to make plays. If the knee is good to go, he will fill the only void the team has on O…solid O line, RBs, QB, TEs and Boldin. MM will force the D to respect his side of the field and keep 8-9 out of the box. Should add more balance and help the run game as well as the pass attack.

    Welcome back.
Good to see Percy returning, too.

Nice to see teams getting key players back for the second half of the season. Makes for some great battles.

How wild is that! We’re 6-2 and our Fullback has the 3rd most receiving yards on the team.
