Maybe the Jaguars should schedule the Titans more than twice a year.

The Jags took advantage of a sloppy Titans offense to take a 29-27 win on the road, improving them to 1-8.

In addition to four turnovers, the Jags forced Titans quarterback Jake Locker from the game with a foot injury. While the Titans (4-5) didn’t look good with him, they looked perhaps worse without him.

When blitzing Jaguars cornerback Will Blackmon stripped the ball away from backup Ryan Fitzpatrick and returned it for a touchdown, it was the perfect finish for a team that has waited a long time to taste victory.

The Jaguars hadn’t won since Nov. 25, 2012, when they beat the Titans at home. Since then, they had lost 13 straight, and had lost 20 of their last 21 prior to Sunday.

That leaves the 0-8 Buccaneers as the league’s only winless team, heading into Monday’s game with the Dolphins.
