Nick Hardwick, King Dunlap among Chargers dealing with injuries

AP

The Chargers are short-handed as they try to mount a comeback against Denver.

Left tackle King Dunlap (concussion), outside linebacker Larry English (bicep) and fullback Le’Ron McClain (ankle) have all left with injuries, Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union Tribune reported.

Also, center Nick Hardwick has missed time in the second half. According to the Union-Tribune, Hardwick has a stinger.

The offensive line injuries have necessitated widespread changes upfront.  Ohrnberger has filled in for Hardwick. Right tackle D.J. Fluker has moved to left tackle, with right guard Jeromey Clary stepping in at right tackle. Left guard Chad Rinehart moved to right guard, and backup Johnnie Troutman has entered the game at left guard.

  1. Hey Joey, we get it dude. You hate, or have an unhealthy jealousy, for all teams in the AFC West that don’t have fans that dress up like it’s Halloween for the Mentally Challenged every Sunday. Do yourself a favor and stick to the Jokeland message boards. The Chargers are horrible and still recovering from the disease known as Norv Turner. Remember him? Yet, no matter how bad they have been, they still manage to be better than your sad excuse for a team that won Superbowls years and years and years ago. Congrats.
