Panthers climb back in, trail 9-7 at half

And just like that, the Panthers are back in it.

After being held in check all afternoon, the Panthers crawled back into the game with an impressive 80-yard touchdown drive, and trail the 49ers 9-7 at halftime.

DeAngelo Williams capped the drive with a 27-yard run for a touchdown, giving the Panthers a shot of confidence just before halftime, knowing they’ll get the ball to start the second half.

The two teams are playing equally stingy defense, but the Panthers’ two turnovers are the difference at the moment.

If tight end Vernon Davis doesn’t come back (he was being evaluated for a concussion), the 49ers are going to have a hard time passing against a fired-up Panthers side.

The Seahawks struggled against that panthers front 7 I remember saying damn they can ball, here’s hoping those panthers give the niners all they can handle and handing them a loss to extend the nfcw lead

Panthers are controlling this game but caught 2 bad breaks. They blocked a 49ers punt and it was luckily recovered them in field goal range by the offense.

Vernon Davis gets stripped after catching the ball for a lost fumble that is called incomplete and couldn’t be overturned.

Cam Newton doesn’t look good today but wow to Kaepernick look like a deer in headlights. He tried a two read pass and Captain nearly picked that off. 49ers look even more conservative than they did when Alex Smith was the QB.

They just got lucky on that drive. Niners got this, no problem.

Wasn’t every niner fan and their grandma talking smack about how Seattle didn’t have enough “style points” against the Panthers when they beat them in Carolina? Now they’re on the verge of losing at home to the same team!

Lmao at these clowns. Seattle is going to crush you on Dec. 8!

both defenses are playing great. Really just need one more score somehow to win for san fran. Is it really a win if you loose a third of your players to injury? tough game

Colin Kaepernick is a terrible QB. I’ve been saying it since Alex Smith went down with a concussion against the Rams last year. The rest of the 49ers fanbase is slowly starting to see this as well…
