Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning was seen limping after being hit low by Chargers defensive lineman Corey Liuget late in Sunday’s win at San Diego, but he stayed in the game.

Manning appeared to be hit in the right leg above the knee on a pass completion to Demaryius Thomas in the final two minutes of the game. Backup Brock Osweiler was preparing to enter the contest, but the Broncos called timeout, and Manning did not miss a snap.

Manning has been listed on the injury report with an ankle ailment before each of Denver’s last two games.

Manning completed 25-of-36 passes for 330 yards and four TDs in Denver’s 28-20 victory.

  1. That’s what they get for throwing for the sticks that late in the game. should have just handed it off to Knowshon. (I know they got the first)

  2. I wouldnt be surprised to find out he’s seriously hurting in a year where we are seeing big injury after big injury.

  3. Good luck next week forehead. There’s a real defense comin to town Sunday night.

If you think it hurts now….

Yeah, just keep talking, Chief Fan. That’s about all you have. You were extremely lucky to win the last two weeks.

  4. Minus Clady Gomer Pyle is getting hit more and more. With the Chiefs fierce pass rush coming up Manning may be limping a lot more next Sunday.

That “fierce” pass rush couldnt muster up anything against Buffalo.

Too bad they don’t have an offense to go with it.

Buffalo has a LOT better O-line than the donkeys do.

  10. Denver only scored 7 points in the 2nd half. Didn’t score again after that sack-strip on Manning.

I’m guessing he wasn’t right well before the hit that made him limp.

    Sorry haters, but he’s fine.

Ya, that’s why he’s having an MRI tomorrow.

    Loser.

  12. Oh yeah…Buffalo ‘torched” the Chiefs D…riiiight. Tell me again how many points they scored? Run up and down the field all you want, the Chiefs D will keep you out of the end zone. Points win games knuckleheads and Chiefs D doesn’t let you have any. If Peyton plays look for him to go down early & often.

This guy can call other people on this site losers and still get his posts published. Good job PFT.

Hey troll, not even the Oakland fans like you anymore. Go away.

As for next week’s matchup, I hope Manning’s there. I want to see a competitive game.

  14. This is just the begining. With many games left in the 13 season Manning’s 37 year old body is going to be so battered by January. Guys one of the greatest but father time + cold weather does not bode well for this guy. Throw in that his playoff history and I think a balanced team with a good D will knock the Broncos out come January. Just saying.

  15. Anyone hating on either team is a fool. It’ll be a great game, pitting two almost exactly opposing forces against one another. What more can we ask for? Hopefully every key player on each team is at his best so we can truly see how these teams measure up before they inevitably meet in the playoffs.

  16. The Broncos should be pulling Peyton out of the game when they are up big in the fourth. He is too valuable to the team. They are going to limp into the playoffs otherwise.
