Rams put Colts on upset alert

Everyone figured the Colts would have an easy time beating the Rams today in Indianapolis.

Everyone was wrong.

The Rams jumped out to a quick 21-0 lead over the Colts, scoring on offense, defense and special teams.

Rams defensive end Chris Long got things started by picking up an Andrew Luck fumble and racing 45 yards to the end zone. Running back Zac Stacy added a one-yard touchdown run, and then Tavon Austin made an absolutely sensational play, acting like he was going to allow a Colts punt to bounce into the end zone but instead picking it up at the 2-yard line and running for a 98-yard touchdown.

There’s still plenty of time left, and the Colts have shown that they can come from behind. But a 21-0 lead for the Rams is a shocking development.

Their D has been the one sliver of hope on that team.

Their front 7 can be awesome.

Why is this surprising? They should have beat the Seahawks two weeks ago.

The Colts do know they’re playing at 1pm and not 4pm right?

Irsay’s twitter feed should be solemn.

It’ll just mean another comeback win for Luck.

Yeah, The rams just scored again…Luck can do a lot but I doubt he can flop his way enough to pull this out..

It was funny to see all the talking heads this morning discuss whether the Colts were the best team in the AFC. They are rolling over at home …to the Rams nonetheless 28-0. The discussion should only be whether they are the best in their division. Not at that next level yet.

Colts benefit from Houston imploding at half time, Denver not getting out of their own way, and very fortunate to not have been down by 15 at halftime vs Seattle after 90 yards of total offense, 75 yards on one play, winning all of those games by less than a score.

Add in a loss vs SD in the last 5 weeks.

St. L could of legit beat Seattle a couple weeks back… so not shocking against an overrated Colts team.

Where’s that elite QB we hear ad nauseam about?

Without Wayne and with two terrible running backs (how’s that Richardson trading working out Colts fans?) the Colts offense isn’t any good. They’re going to have to adjust, quickly.

lol maybe people will actually pat attention to Luck crapping the bed in the first half today…it always gets forgotten cause they play garbage teams who choke the game away… not today #Lucksack

The Rams are way more legit than their record indicates. And the Colts are way more inconsistent than their record indicates. That the Rams are winning doesn’t surprise me, but the large margin was enough to elicit a “whoa” from me when it came up on the TV.

I thought Seattle was overrated because they didn’t beat St. Louis convincingly enough on the road…

Luck is terrible. Easily the 3rd best choice out of that draft.

The colts will get totally Lucky and somehow win. #miss3fieldgoals

Why do the Chiefs get consistently ridiculed for beating poor teams in close games while the Colts get a pass for losing to equally bad opponents?

With weekend is shaping up to be a ‘Any Given Sunday’ one…

Luck is not that good. His team wins games for him.

OK Mr.Isray, I want you to tweet likemy 10 year old sister does and explain how bad a move Richardson trade was? Also waiting for u to tweet how great your team is gonna be. LOVING IT as a RAM fan here. Try beating them in four years. Colts were likable team till lil girl owner began his little girl tweets and opening mouth. You guys falling in Cowboys, Raiders, And Patriot category as far as a team to root against cause of a dope on team. And dope is Owner. Imagine that.

How will Chris Long compare to his dad could be an upcoming media issue. So far not even close but overall play has improved this year.
