It keeps getting worse for Houston.
Texans running back Arian Foster has a back injury that will require surgery and is out for the rest of the season, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
The Texans will announce that Foster is going on season-ending injured reserve on Monday, Rapoport reports. Although Foster wanted to see if he could tough it out and play this season, he had three doctors tell him he needs back surgery, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Foster’s season ends with 121 carries for 542 yards and one touchdown.
