The fear on Sunday was that Titans quarterback Jake Locker would miss the rest of the season after suffering a Lisfranc injury to his right foot.
That fear became reality on Monday. Coach Mike Munchak confirmed that Locker will miss the remaining games on the Titans schedule because of the Lisfranc injury. It is still unknown whether or not Locker will need surgery to repair the injury, but it is known how down Locker is about the turn of events.
“I know how depressed he is,” Munchak said, via Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean.
When this year comes to an end, Locker will have missed 14 of 32 games over the last two seasons because of injuries and Munchak said that there would be discussions about his future with the organization this offseason. Depending on how things play out with Ryan Fitzpatrick leading the offense, Munchak may not be around to lead that discussion.
