The Panthers have a nasty defense this year. And they’ll bolster it on Wednesday by bringing back one of their own.
Per a league source, linebacker Dan Connor will sign with Carolina.
Connor, a third-round pick in 2008, spent for years with the Panthers. In 2012, he signed with the Cowboys. Earlier this year, he joined the Giants.
A neck injury landed Connor on injured reserve in September. Recently released from IR, Connor has chosen to continue his career where it began.
