Sunday night, it didn’t look like Drew Brees was ever going to miss.

So it figures that he’d hit on another award today.

Brees was named the NFC’s offensive player of the week after his stunning display in the Saints’ 49-17 win over the Cowboys Sunday night.

He finished 34-of-41 for 392 yards and four touchdowns, and completed 19 straight passes at one point in the first half.

Since 2006, Brees has won 16 player of the week awards, tying him with Patriots quarterback Tom Brady over that span.
