Bengals won’t have Kevin Zeitler for date with Browns

The Bengals are down a guard for the Battle of Ohio.

Right guard Kevin Zeitler has been ruled out by Cincinnati as a result of the right foot injury he suffered against the Ravens last weekend. Zeitler has been in a walking boot and using crutches all week, so the decision doesn’t come as much of a surprise.

The Bengals will have a bye in Week 12, giving Zeitler another week to recover from his injury. Mike Pollak, who hasn’t played much in any role this season, will likely start in his place although the Bengals haven’t said anything official.

Defensive tackle Devon Still remains out for the Bengals. Defensive back Chris Crocker and linebacker Ray Maualuga are both doubtful to play and linebacker James Harrison was a Friday addition to the injury report. He’s questionable with a calf injury for a defense that will be shorthanded whether or not he’s able to get in the lineup.
