Corey Liuget not fined for hit on Peyton Manning

The most fretted-about hit of the week didn’t turn out to be costly to the hitter or the hittee.

Chargers defensive lineman Corey Liuget was not fined for his low hit on Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning, the league confirmed to PFT.

Liuget’s hit was low, and the Broncos sent the play to the league for review. But the fact it was neither flagged at the time or flagged upon review makes it clear the league had no problem with it.

Manning’s not necessarily worse for wear either. He missed practice Wednesday, but is listed as probable for Sunday’s game against the Chiefs.

It was clean, but unfortunate for Peyton. Those flags that the Jets got for hitting Brees just below the waist, however…

There was nothing wrong with the hit except it was made on Peyton WHERE THE HELL IS MY FLAG!! Manning.

He wasn’t complaining about the flag, but rather the timeout they were charged because the official deemed him to be injured, thereby stopping the clock. No one begs for flags more than Brady.

People should know by now, this has become a rep thing. Now, if his last name had been Suh or Fairley…

    @mr Wrong

Clearly I’m biased but for every unique video clip you show me of Tom Brady begging for a flag… I’ll show you one of your quarterback doing the same thing. The only diff being, NE is on national tv more because your team blows.
-or because they’ve been eliminated from the playoffs
-or because they never made the playoffs
-or because they’ve been flexed out of the nat tv schedule
-or because you can’t sell out your staduim
-or because the antenna in your moms basement needs more tinfoil

I’d rather see qbs whining for flags then diving like Luck did against the Broncos.

If Peyton was whining for a flag last week. He will be in the fetal position sucking his thumb beofre the end of the 1st qtr this week.

Hello whine-one-one. Could you please send the whaaaaaaaambulance to Denver?

I’m still trying to figure out what these amateur comedians are referring to with whining, when I already told them what Peyton was talking about when he saw the official calling the timeout.

And patswinagain, please stop. Only a Patriots fan would overlook what everyone else sees, Brady begging for (and getting, most of the time) flags for minimal to no contact.
