Packers tight end Jermichael Finley apparently wanted to make it clear his intention was to return to football, judging by the gratuitous use of capital letters.

But he also chose to take a swipe at the guy spreading the word his career could be over.

Finley took to Twitter to dispute the previous claim by former Packers tight end Mark Chmura that his career would end because of the surgery.

“For All The Craziness That’s Going Around ‘I’m Not Done With The Game Of FootBall,’” Finley said on Twitter. “Thanks To ‘Dr. Mark Chumra’ For The False Story.”

For Finley’s sake, we hope that he recovers well enough to play again. Whether that happens with the Packers or any other team remains to be seen, as he’s a free agent after this season.
