Peyton Manning probable, Champ Bailey doubtful

NFL: Denver Broncos at San Diego Chargers Reuters

As if there was much doubt before, there’s now an official word to go along with it.

Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning, who took a day off Wednesday to rest his sore right ankle, was listed as probable for Sunday’s game against the Chiefs on the team’s official injury report.

While there was never much doubt after he returned to practice Thursday, any time there’s a player of his magnitude, the spotlight will shine bright on his every move.

The news wasn’t all good for the Broncos, however. Cornerback Champ Bailey is still listed as doubtful. He practiced this week, but gave no indications he was ready to get back into games. He’s played a grand total of six quarters this season.

    Glad he’s playing.

That way when the Chiefs win, the Broncos have no backup QB excuses to fall back on.

Stop Knowshon Moreno, and you stop the denver offense. Moreno keeps the drives going.

Is funny to read about all this Chief fans talking about how bad of a beating the Bronco’s are going to take this weekend, as a Bronco fan I say to them words are cheap let actions speak for themselves this weekend Go Bronco’s.

The Broncos are 19-2 in their last 21 games. One of their losses was a double OT game against Baltimore in the playoffs. The other, of course, was the Indy game on the road in which they fumbled 3 times in the red zone and lost 39-33.

They are not an easy team to beat.

Chiefs aren’t easy to beat either. This game is going to be great.

The fact that the rematch in KC is right around the corner makes it even better. Could be the 2 best NFL games this season.

Petting Manning is the luckiest quarterbacks in the NFL. Give him average receivers like most teams have he would be a below average passer. Just keep a. Hospital room reserved for him after the chiefs defense gets done with him!!
