The Lions will be trying to hold onto their NFC North lead in Pittsburgh on Sunday afternoon and they’ll be doing it against a Steelers team missing a couple of key defensive players.

Linebacker LaMarr Woodley and defensive end Brett Keisel are both inactive for the Steelers. Woodley was listed as doubtful with a calf injury, so it is no great surprise that he’s been left out of the lineup. Jarvis Jones and Jason Worilds will start at outside linebacker with Woodley out of the game.

Keisel was questionable because of a foot injury and wasn’t able to get on the right side of the game-time decision. Keisel has started all nine games for the Steelers this season, recording 25 tackles and two sacks, and his absence will hurt the Steelers run defense. Ziggy Hood should see more playing time with Keisel out.

The Steelers will also be without guard Ramon Foster because of a high ankle sprain. Guy Whimper will start at left guard in his place and won’t have to worry about blocking inactive Lions defensive end Ziggy Ansah at any point during the contest. The Steelers will have to deal with wide receiver Calvin Johnson, who is active after dealing with a groin injury this week.

What a coincidence that the steelers became weak, fragile, and slow as soon as the federal authorities began investigating and indicted steeler team doctor dr. rydze for illegal distribution of human growth hormone and anabolic steroids.

Nice to see the trolls brought their ‘A’ game, was worried doctorrustbelt wouldn’t make his steroid comment despite the fact when you look at all of the NFL players busted for PED, they aren’t steeler players
