McCoy goes down holding hamstring, all that’s slowing Eagles

Ryan Kerrigan, LeSean McCoy AP

The way the Eagles are running up and down the field, the only thing that appears capable of slowing them down seems to be an injury.

And that may have just happened.

Running back LeSean McCoy is leaving the field with an apparent hamstring injury, going down at the end of a second-quarter play.

The league’s leading rusher just limped off to the locker room after a run. He has 37 yards and seven carries today, along with a 49-yard reception.

The Eagles were rolling, up 17-0, making big play after big play. They’ve also done things with their defense, picking off Redskins Robert Griffin III after a sack-strip by Connor Barwin in the red zone.

Confirmed again that Allen needs to spend most of that $20 million coming in cap space on secondary, offensive line, and special teams.

Griffin needs to learn to get rid of the ball in 3 seconds and quit trying to be the I in team.

I knew from the moment ESPN started yapping about how amazing the Eagles are that the Redskins would have to overcome the Eagles AND the refs in this game. #Unfair #GoodellAndESPNHateTheRedskins

Karma for that blatant taunting penalty

I can’t wait until fans of the Washington Indigenous People completely turn on RGnoKnees..it’s going to be even more hilarious then it already is. It’s like the joke that never ends. You anoint your Messiah then crucify him like a bunch of judases. Also fans of the Washington Red Tales are disgraceful in their support of racism which makes sense given how much they publicly display they’re hatred of their black quarterback. Tisk Tisk.

I guess that touchdown he just scored was karma too right? Shady is Barry Sanders 2.0, never have I seen a NFL player juke the way he does.

Coming from a classless Ravens fan, that’s pretty funny. How’s your overpaid Joe FLUKE-Oh doing? RG3 is LEAGUES better than Joe Flacco. Real Redskins fans defend RG3. The ones insulting him are probably just Ravens trolls like yourself. #HTTR #RedskinsRunTheStateOfMaryland

Most everyone around here said Foles wasn’t mobile enough to run Chip Kelly’s offense. But he seems to be doing a pretty good job of it. I never thought mobility would be an important factor. Foles has the football IQ, the ability to read defenses, and I bet he actually spends time studying the playbook instead of just winging it each week.

Football games are won with smart qb’s not athletic ones. This kid is having a very nice year so far.
