Ponder will start at quarterback for Vikings

The Vikings have held their quarterback decision close to the vest all week, considering the unstable nature of the position and Christian Ponder’s shoulder injury.

They must be convinced he’s well enough and good enough.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Ponder is expected to start today against the Seahawks.

While that’s not a big surprise, it also indicates the progress of Josh Freeman is slow, or they don’t want to risk getting him pounded against the Seahawks pass rush.

It probably indicates how well Ponder played last Thursday and is able to play…

I’m not sold on any QB this week.
