Saints lose Jabari Greer to leg injury

The Saints have lost starting cornerback Jabari Greer to what looks like a serious leg injury.

Greer landed awkwardly and hurt his left leg in the first quarter of today’s game against the 49ers, and he needed medical attention on the field and was then carted to the locker room. Although Greer smiled and waved to the crowd as he left the field, he appeared to be badly hurt.

The 31-year-old Greer has started every game this season, but he may now be out for a long time.

Second-year player Corey White is Greer’s backup.

That was one ugly knee injury, I wish him the best, I hope he didn’t tear all his ligaments.

Jabari Greer may just be the most likable person in the entire NFL. Just watch his interviews.

Beaston, can’t you do better than the “Brees demands an explanation” that’s almost two years old already…
