Severe weather is expected to affect today’s Browns-Bengals game in Cincinnati, and it has affected the Browns’ travel plans as well.
With the weather expected to get worse as the afternoon goes on, the Browns are making alternate travel plans to get back to Cleveland in case their flight gets delayed. Tony Grossi of ESPNCleveland.com reports that the Browns are making arrangements to have buses available after the game. (Cleveland is about a four-hour drive from Cincinnati.)
Browns-Bengals kicks off at 1 p.m. Eastern, and the National Weather Service says there’s a high risk for severe weather this afternoon and evening. High winds, large hail, heavy rain, lightning and potentially tornadoes are in the forecast. The most severe weather is expected between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m., right when the Browns would be flying home.
Which means the Browns may not be flying home.
