Slow start for passing games in Chiefs-Broncos

We could have fairly assumed one side might not be dynamic throwing the ball so far in tonight’s Chiefs-Broncos game.

Both, we would not have expected.

The Broncos have a 3-0 lead on the Chiefs midway through the first quarter, as Peyton Manning and Alex Smith combined to complete three of their first 12 passes for 28 yards.

A defensive struggle would favor the Chiefs, though they haven’t been able to establish a run game either.

Unfortunately for Chiefs fans, Alex Smith is looking very Alex Smith like.
