The Neverending Game: Bears, Ravens headed to overtime in Chicago

Dallas Clark, Chris Conte AP

Justin Tucker’s 21-yard field goal with three seconds left in the fourth quarter has sent Sunday’s Ravens-Bears game to overtime tied at 20 apiece.

The Ravens engineered a 15-play, 81-yard drive to set up the field goal, with Dallas Clark’s one-handed fourth-down catch a key play.

The Ravens advanced as close as the Chicago two-yard-line but could not punch it in.

The Ravens and Bears began play at around 1 p.m. Eastern. The game was delayed for around two hours because of inclement weather. Now, the teams will need a fifth quarter to decide this one in the wind and mud — and under the lights — in Chicago.

The Ravens will have the ball first in overtime.

Joe Flacco his name should be accompanied with a flushing toilet and multiple hundred dollar bills swirling around and eventually descending into the depths of the sewer…

    Another loss for the Ravens.

Is this what $20 mil a year gets you? Money well spent…

Bears win, Packers have no team without A-rod, and lions are starting to act like the lions.

This season just keeps getting better!

I wonder if the over-hyped, over-rated double murderer will claim conspiracy because of he weather delay?

Another great game from Flacco. I smile when I think about all the people who defended his big contract. He has certainly managed to prove he is not elite.

But I thought the Ravens were going right back to the Super Bowl this year…?

Good game Bears. You deserved the game. The conditions on the field were horrible, but it affected both teams. It looks like the Ravens wil be picking high in next year’s draft.

I’m waiting for Ravens players to accuse Goodell of being responsible for the inclement weather that caused the 2 hour delay that allowed the Bears to come back.

Dalton with weapons GALORE was bailed out by his D…again.

    Good luck with that.

Meanwhile back in reality, the Ravens are having a down year after winning a SB. Which happens quite a bit to many teams that have won a SB in the modern day NFL. Doesn’t happen too much in cincy though. I wonder why that is? Oh..right.
