Report: Rahim Moore to miss several weeks with leg injury

The Broncos handed the Chiefs their first loss of the 2013 season on Sunday night, but Denver didn’t make it through the game unscathed.

Safety Rahim Moore left in the second quarter with a lower left leg injury, didn’t return to the game and, according to a report from Joan Niesen and Mike Klis of the Denver Post, won’t be returning for the next few games either. There’s no word on the specific injury, but it is reportedly serious enough to keep Moore on the sideline for several weeks.

Moore has started all 10 games for the Broncos so far this season, recording 44 tackles and two interceptions. While the Broncos defense has had its rough patches, Moore has avoided any plays reminiscent of his botched coverage late in last year’s playoff loss to the Ravens. With trips to New England and Kansas City in the next two weeks, it’s hardly an ideal moment for the Broncos to find themselves down a starting safety.

Mike Adams replaced Moore on Sunday night and David Bruton is also on the roster to help out in Moore’s absence.

Jacoby Jones’ best friend. Will be voted into the Ravens ring of honor.

Rahim Moore was the best player for the Ravens last year

After his bonehead coverage against Jacoby Jones in last year’s playoff game, I’m surprised he’s even still around.

I always laugh when he introduces himself as Rahim ‘The Dream’ Moore on NBC.

What rough patches? Oh brother. This is a great defense. All those points and yards passing are all junk after the game is virtually over.

This is a stout defense and I think they made the difference against KC.

Regarding “The Dream Moore” he is not that great however. I would liken him to the defensive version of Knowshow Morono. Big on hype and showmanship. Ready to jump out of their jockstrap everytime they do anything beside screw up.

The Broncos have the deepest roster in the NFL- period. While John Elway is a drunkard and a loser personally, he is darn good at building a roster.

Terrance Knighton is an Ox and he and Vickerson are an awesome pair inside.

Danny Trevathan is a star in the making. Kayvon Webster has replaced Champ Bailey. Chris Harris is the best unknown corner in the NFL- by a mile.

Malik Jackson will be a pro bowl end in two years. That dude is a gorilla…reminds me of Reggie White. By year end he will start over Robert Ayers.
