DeMarcus Ware says he’ll be ready for Giants game

DeMarcus Ware AP

Apparently, DeMarcus Ware isn’t about to miss out on the bloodshed.

The Cowboys defensive end said Tuesday there was “no doubt,” he’d be ready for Sunday’s game with the Giants, according to Clarence Hill of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

Ware appeared to aggravate his quad injury the last time the Cowboys played, in a blowout loss to the Saints. Actually, that’s probably generous, as he was dragging one leg around behind him much of the night. But with the bye week, he’s had an opportunity to rest and recover.

For a game between teams with a combined 9-11 record, this one has a certain amount of heat, and if Ware’s healthy and able to contribute again, it should only add to that.

Whoever wins the divsion is getting bounced in round one. The Redskins are the best team and are being held back. Period.

I hope he has a non-stain perm-a-press jersey to handle all the blood.

Wouldn’t it be cool if like, you know, ALL of the starters were in the same game at the same time… That would probably be a lot better.

Logicalvoice LACKS logic. Here’s some logic for the 2013-14 NFL season:

Redskins are last in the division Week 11 (SURPRISED? No, b/c they had the same record last year at this point but the diff is they’re not coming back from this)

Giants are on a 4-game win streak. Ashame that the toughest part of the schedule is coming up for this team. (SURPRISED? No, who couldn’t beat QB’s like Josh Freeman, Scott Tolzien, Matt Barkley, and and injured T Pryor?)

Cowboys have a very bad defense and a highly OVERRATED secondary (claiborne)..Dallas coaches may want to sneak a “12th man” onto the field during critical situations(SURPRISED? No, b/c they’re defense ranks 32 in the NFL in total yards per game given up)

Eagles are 6-5..1st place..No Michael Vick..their defense has improved the most in this division

Hey dumb Manning, allow me to reintroduce this beast. Goes by Demarcus! Ware, meet your breakfast. No oline either? Ooh start licking your chops now. Cowboys fans don’t let those irrelevant super bowls intimidate you ., that’s just the first time ever that a flukey team won twice. They’re neither overrated or underrated or even rated. Nobody cares for them. Not even new York, they’re from new Jersey people. Only real new York team comes from upstate…new Yorkers love them some cowboys, trust me when I tell you this. Jayz is the king out there and guess who he’s a fan of?? Yup you guessed right AmericasTeam

Ware does not matter in this game. Dallas has no D and the Giants will have no problem scoring against them. The only thing the Giants have to worry about is shutting down the Dallas offense, which they should be able to do. This game should be a no contest…..at this point in the season the Giants are clearly a much better team than the cowboys.

What the giants have to worry about is how good are the Eagles.

The Cowboys defense is the sweet elixir needed to turn Eli’s season around. Once the “good Eli” re-emerges this week, the rest of the NFC will be getting nervous quick.

The entire league knows that there is only ONE team that can beat the Seahawks in Seattle in the playoffs.

Hatcher is hurt and nobody cares about the other no-name scrubs you’re mentioning. Carr is good but not worth his contract. What is your point exactly? The Dallas d is shameful and you’ve thrown out the names that point out why that is.
The Giants are not a good team but the boys are just as bad….with a much higher cap number.

When I read this, I actually thought Jerry Jones was already hiring a law firm to represent his team against the Giants for the assault Big Blue is, as JPP said, will be “putting on them”.

I think Dallas would be better served suiting up real life cowboys off the ranch for their defense than these stiffs.

Held back by ROB Shanghai or Snyder. Or all 3? I thought it was the best owner with the best coach and God’s qb?
