ProFootballTalk: ‘Catchable’ or not? That is the question.

Carolyn Manno joins Mike Florio to discuss whether the call on the play that ended the Monday night game between the Panthers and the Patriots was “uncatchable.” Manno asks: Could another penalty besides pass interference have been called against the Panthers?

    Even if you conclude it was “uncatchable” and totally ignore the fact the shameless mugging of Gronk began at the point the ball was picked is what likely made it appear “uncatchable” to the untrained eye —- couldn’t defensive holding have been called on Kuechly?

    RARELY in the NFL do you see a player held with both arms wrapped around him for so long in full view of the officials — and yet, it was not called.

    They really blew it.
