Rahim Moore goes on injured reserve with designation to return

AP

When word broke that the Broncos were signing safety Michael Huff on Tuesday, it wasn’t hard to see the writing on the wall in regard to what it meant for Rahim Moore.

Moore had surgery on Monday morning to address lateral compartment syndrome in his lower left leg, which was expected to keep him out several weeks. It will be at least eight of them after the team placed him on injured reserve with the designation to return on Tuesday.

Moore would be eligible to return for the AFC Championship Game should he make a full recovery and, of course, assuming the Broncos advance that far in the postseason. Moore finishes the regular season with 44 tackles and two interceptions in 10 games.

Mike Adams is expected to get the first crack at replacing Moore in the lineup with Huff and David Bruton in reserve.

  1. Denver fans: Your team is looking fragile. You’re getting the wins still, but I think Seattle would destroy your O line and sack Manning an ungodly amount of times…or he’d throw 3 picks.

And that defense up in Mile High? Pedestrian at best. Wilson will carve it up like Thanksgiving turkey.

That’s funny because the chiefs have a better pass rush than the Seahawks and they barely even hit manning last week. You should worry about your own team and hope they have enough adderall stocked up for the playoffs.
