Stevie Johnson says he’ll be good to go after the bye

The Bills didn’t miss wide receiver Stevie Johnson all that much in Week 11 as T.J. Graham and Marquise Goodwin were able to exploit a shaky Jets secondary on the way to a 37-14 victory.

They shouldn’t have to find a way to win without Johnson again when they face the Falcons in Week 13, however. Johnson said that he feels confident his groin injury will be fine after he stays in Buffalo to use the bye week to rehab and recover.

“I’ll definitely be suited up. I think I’ll be much better than what I was this past week,” Johnson said, via the team’s website. “I’m optimistic about it.”

Johnson has been bothered by other nagging injuries this season and missed one game earlier in the year as well. He has 41 catches for 471 yards and three touchdowns over the course of the season.

The Bills were also missing wideout Robert Woods against the Jets, but coach Doug Marrone said Monday that he thinks Woods should also be ready to return after the week off.
