Bobby Rainey’s on his third team, and he’s only getting a chance with the Buccaneers because the first two guys got hurt.

Now he’s being recognized as their first player of the week.

Rainey was named NFC offensive player of the week after his 30-carry, 163-yard outburst against the Falcons, which included three touchdowns.

He was the first Bucs player to run for two touchdowns and catch one in the same game, and the first player from Western Kentucky to win such an award.

The former Ravens and Browns back has a chance the rest of the season to establish himself, and has made the most of that opportunity so far.
